When it comes to travel, most of us love traveling with our families, some of our most treasured memories are on family vacations! But, let’s be real, traveling with children isn’t as easy as going on an adult-only trip. It requires alot more prep. You might feel like you need a vacation from your vacation after all of fun with your kids, and its just a bit more busy in comparison to lounging by the pool 24/7. Not to worry our team has put together a list of hacks that make traveling with your fam a bit easier and a bit more chic!   Let’s start with packing, when it comes to traveling more is less right? Who likes schlepping tons of luggage around. Well, we have to say with children and long travel its always nice to be prepared. From your flight to the hotel, the more you can be consistent with a similar atmosphere to home the smoother your travel will be. From your child’s favorite movie on their Ipad to the noise machine they sleep with at home bringing a few home essentials could make your travels seamless. For the flight we always suggest to our clients a few little surprises for the kiddos. Maybe its a coloring book, their favorite treat or a new game! But one things for sure for long flights- entertainment is key. 

 

   When picking a hotel to stay at with the family, you don’t want to jeopardize your beautiful vacation for a low grade hotel so your kids can go, that’s where we come in. weather its a villa, a suite, different hotels in the area your looking at we will make accommodations that best suite your family. More hotels than you think don’t allow children, so its extremely important to know what you’re getting yourself into before you book.

 

   When we curate a trip for our clients traveling with their families we do have some favorites that top the list all around the globe. To name a few – The Four Seasons at Nevis in The Caribbean; you can jump on a jeep and ride around the golf course searching for monkeys, hop in one of the many pools, swim with sea turtles, or grab lunch at one of the four restaurants. The hotels has fifty private retreats on the property from one to seven bedrooms options! Another favorite of ours is the One&Only in the Maldives, there isn’t much to explain about the beauty of the Maldives since it truly speaks for itself, The One&Only is full of amazing experiences, the resort has a amazing dive center, incredible snorkeling trips, a private pool that attaches to your villa or suite, oh and don’t forget the beachfront cinema to enjoy your family’s favorite movies snuggles under the stars. And lastly, we are Californians so it’s only fair that we pick on of our favorite family spots; The Hotel del Coronado in Beautiful San Diego. This hotel has hosted some of the worlds most elite, but is also the most enjoyable spot for children, with its ocean front views and kids club for entertaining, you can drop the children off for some special play time! They have s’mores around the fires on the beach with your own private fire-pit, they also arrange for private zoo trips to the San Diego zoo, Or you can just eat your way through one of the seven restaurants on site.
