DA TRAVEL EDITION: A long weekend in San Francisco

DA TRAVEL EDITION: A long weekend in San Francisco

We had the privilege of having a little work staycation in the bay area this past week, it was such a treat for our team to be all together for a some work and play action. Taking a group of travel driven ladies to a place packed with so much beauty is a dream. Our road-trip started out in beautiful Bodega Bay, and this is your cue to look up Bodega Bay now if you don’t know where or what it looks like.  If you’re looking for a northern California Gem this is your sign to go here. A small coastal town with ocean views, beautiful farm lands, Deep forests, unique downtown area, and all the feels for a peaceful weekend.

Our Trip took us to Petaluma for a some wine tasting at Keller Estate Winery & Vineyards. With the most dreamy views and some of the best wines on the Sonoma Coast, its a shoe-in for a perfect evening.  The atmosphere is complex and elegant, with a beautiful lake running through the property, wines that are paired with unique foods harvested from the ranch. After our day trip of Petaluma we obviously took the streets of San Francisco.

We left our beach house in Bodega Bay and headed to the city for some San Fran goddess. We stayed at the St. Regis in downtown, which is one of the most iconic hotels. This hotel is walking distance to the Moscone Center, Oracle park, The Museum of Modern Art, and close enough to hop on a Trolly to downtown for some fun exploring. When you get us ladies together usually our trip starts with shopping, so we took to thestreets for some amazing shopping in Haight and Ashbury which is a district filled with unique shops from Designer clothes, to old school vintage heaven.  Then we Grabbed a bite at one of the most beautiful restaurants in San Fran, Benu- this is a three hour dining experience that takes you through a wide variety of seafood, Veggies, Meat course and of course some sweets. It was an amazing experience that we highly recommend but remember you need a reservation in advance and no children allowed due to the lengthy time of the dinner.

Our “work”cation was one to remember from the beauty of Bodega Bay and spending time at the ocean, to wine tasting in the quaint town of Petaluma, to finishing up in San Francisco for a fancy end to a wonderful weekend. We hope that journal inspires you and your loves ones to get out and explore your local beauty. For us LA girls its about a 8 hour drive to this part of California, but we encourage you to explore all your state has to offer!
